Taking Water into Your Own Hands
Preserving the quality of water as a community can be quite difficult in modern society. Even if you do everything you can with water clean ups, workshops, advocacy campaigns; the systematic pollution of water from agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, and fast food waste is a heavy burden to bare. We need to both take individual action at home and push for further regulation at the governmental level.
“Thanks to the Clean Water Act, billions of pounds of pollution have been kept out of our rivers and the number of waters that meet clean water goals nationwide has doubled – with direct benefits for drinking water, public health, recreation, and wildlife.” – Americanrivers.org
